Allt talar till oss ('Everything speaks to us') leads avenues of approach into some of the most difficult questions humankind is facing in our time – our relationship with the planet and ourselves under a darkening horizon.

The 50min-play originated in the borderlands between the arts and academia. In the pandemic winter of 2021, the paths of Bernhard (project lead of Frozen Atlantis) and Martin (director of the theatre company Undantaget) crossed in Östersund. The result was a piece revolving around the places and stories we lose, how we as humans connect to the world around us, and the crisis of that connection in the light of global change.

'Allt talar till oss' premiered on 10 November 2023 at C:nen in Östersund, Sweden. The piece was written for students in middle school (‘mellanstadiet’) as well as adults, involving school classes in the region in the creative process.

'Allt talar till oss' was designed as a mobile play and went on tour to schools and further venues in the Jämtland Härjedalen region after the premiere weekend. For this, a concept for teachers to use the piece in the classroom has been developed.
